Q8. What is pin coded access?

Davis Alarmed has a Security, Access Control & Building Automation System that provides you, our valued customer, with the Security and Access that is expected of such a modern complex.
This system is very simple to use. It is a Code Access System, which means that you, the storer, get to choose your own 4 digit code for entry to and exit from the complex.
The system provides many more features.

  • 24 Hour Access
  • Back to Base Alarm System
  • Every movement in this complex is recorded and kept on a database. [all gates and doors, every entrance and exit]
  • Security Cameras on all driveways and all entry and exit gates and most doors
  • Every unit is individually alarmed

To date there has not been a security breach.
In the case of a security alert, during business hours, the security personnel contacts our office, which is always attended during these times. After business hours the security personnel contacts our local security people who also do regular patrols and are always close by.
It is Davis Alarmed best practice policy to always have matters handled by the proper authorities.
Q9. What do you mean by Individually Alarmed?

Individually Alarmed
Each storage unit is Individually Alarmed, protecting your valuable possessions at the Davis Alarmed Storage Unit level as well as at the Davis Alarmed Complex Entrance level. This means that as you enter your pin code at the Davis Alarmed entrance the gate opens for you and the security alarm protecting your storage unit is disarmed. To exit the Davis Alarmed Complex you will need to enter your security code again at one of the 3 exit gates. This opens that exit gate to let you out but this also re-arms the security alarm protecting your storage unit.
